River stories at the museum

The next Tea & Talk session at the Warkworth & District Museum on September 15 will explore a collection of stories of the Mahurangi River, inspired by historical black and white photographs selected for the museum’s 2024 calendar.

Local history expert Brenda Yoxall will be the speaker at the event, which starts at 10am and will be followed by tea and biscuits.

Entry is $5 and bookings are essential via warkworthmuseum@xtra.co.nz

The 2024 calendar is now available at the museum, at a cost of $20. Staff warn that they can sell out quickly.
